Press Release

The Rotary Club of Kennett Square proudly announces the distribution of funds totaling $15,000 raised from its highly successful summer fundraiser, Kennett on Top, held this summer. The event, which brought together community members, local businesses, and volunteers, surpassed all expectations, raising a substantial amount that will now be channeled into various not-for-profit community organizations.

The funds will support several key organizations and will distribute checks at a lively event on Tuesday, September 17 to: The Kennett Square Police Department, YoungMoms, Family Promise of Southern Chester County, The Kennett Area Senior Center, Kennett Flash, Anti-Human Trafficking, After the Bell, and Tick Tock Early Learning Center. The Rotary Club remains committed to positively impacting our community and is thrilled to see the fundraiser's proceeds put to good use.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this year's fundraiser,” said Sue Minarchi, President of the Rotary Club of Kennett Square. “The generosity of our community members and partners has enabled us to support local organizations and initiatives. We look forward to seeing the positive changes these funds will bring.”

The Rotary Club of Kennett Square again extends its heartfelt thanks to all sponsors, party-goers, donors, and volunteers who made this event possible. The club is dedicated to continuing its mission of service above self and looks forward to organizing more events that benefit the community. See you next year, Saturday, June 14, 2025!
